Aside from the roller set-up and having tapped holes in the lifter valley for the anti-rotators, what are the differences between the pre '94 roller 302's and the pre-'87 302's? I have been researching, and it seems that they have identical blocks and heads, the firing orders are the same (except for the HO engines), the tranny bolt patterns are the same yada, yada.

There's a reason I'm asking this question for an upcoming project and want to see if my thinking is correct.
