Default cold air intake

ok i am new here and i just bought a 07 ford f150 with a 5.4 in it. my question is, i drive on some dusty roads from time to time so will a cold air intake work for me. don't want to tear anything up. i have a few question for you guys and i am looking for any help as i have no clue. any and all help thank you

Of course it would, you would still have an air filter. It wouldnt make any difference. Just change the filter more.

thinking of going with K&N brand jut to keep it simple. i have ran with them in the past just never did replace the whole air intake system. will i have to change anything else? like computer junk or other things

what about a closed box type system? is there an older post on this? just point me in the right direction and thanks for the help

If I had the 5.4 and wanted a closed box system, I would use the AFE stage 2 dry s system. I've read some good reviews on the AFE Stage 2 dry, I'm going to get one of their systems for my 4.6

that just might be what i am looking for or at least points me in the right direction i have been doing alot of looking and reading on all types of these systems. thanks for the information and the help now lets talk about throttle bodie spacers and what the heck they do?

If you want a AFE Stage II dry system for a 5.4 I have one for sale. It is brand new still in the box. I have it posted in the parts for sale. Let me know if you are interested.

Gotts mod and safe your money. A/M intakes are a waste of money. BTW - so are TBSs.

Any chance that chart is from a Banks ad???
Do you honestly believe biased ads like that? Go to AEM or Volants site and I'll bet you see something similar...
