331 Stoker
Hello, I have just purchased a non-running 91 F-150 with a 302. The engine needs rebuild, and this truck is a dog from the factory so I am going to beef it up a little. I am pretty sure I have my heart set on a 331 stroker kit. The 347 I hear can have oil burning issues along with some other issues, so it is out. I want the truck to be reliable and to be a good puller. I think I have some rebuilt GT40 heads purchased at a descent price. Has anybods built one of these for their truck? If so I would like to know a good place to get a rotating assembly from, what size cam to use, what size injectors to use, and so on. I plan to put headers on, especially since the manifolds are broken, run trues duals, high flow cats and possibly flowmasters. I will say I am on a budget, but I willing to put down the money for descent parts, I don't beleive in bying cheap crap. I am really not interested in putting a 351 in either do to the possibility of needing buy a bunch of brackets and such just to get it to work. Feedback on the 331 would be much appriciated....Thanks
