my 89 fuel injected 4.9l with 250,000 plus miles just started dieing @ idle. i recently replaced the map sensor, checked egr valve, cleaned and replaced the air idle valve, checked for vacume leaks, checked fuel presure, cleaned injectors all with no luck. sometimes the truck will idle for 5 minutes just fine and sometimes it just dies after a minute or less. it doesnt fluctuate just slowely dies. any speed above idle the thing runs great. it has a bulldog 4-speed trans. any help would be appreciated.

Just a suggestion try checking your TPS. Thats the only one you didnt list. hope it helps.
