What is the dtc code that is being tripped?...Is it the same code now?
How did you clean the Maf?....assuming that was the problem to begin with..

thanks 4 replying, I sprayed it again with maf spray and the light went off (after connecting the battery), hopefully this time it will stay off. If I get a check engine again I'll take it to get a code. I don't remember the code but i was told it was the maf sensor. I'm crossing my fingers that it doesn't come back on. Thanks ottawaguy...

hope you get it worked out. I have not had to deal with a maf issue yet, so i'm not sure how effective the cleaning is....but I'm sure it will buy you some time if it's on it's way out. I hear it matters what you use to clean them though. If you're using a maf specific cleaner, then I'm guessing it's fine.
Let us know how it works out.
