Default shackle install

So I bought lowering shackles. Went to install them, and found the upper shackle bolt head will hit the frame rail! How do I remove it? Saw off? Torch off? What am I missing? Replacement bolts other than the stealership? Thanks in advance...

I've never done this so maybe I'm totally off base....Looking at the instructions there might be a hole in the frame where the cross member meets the main frame rail where you can drive the bolt through. You might have to raise or lower the axle (not the body) to get the shackle in the correct position.

Not sure if you have this or not...It's a link to the installation for the Ford Performance Rear Shackle kit
.

Good Luck!

Unbolt the bottom then lift the leaf spring...the upper bolt will pass between the bed and frame for removal.
