I would never run nitrogen as my only option. You need compressors as a back up still bc you never know when something will happen and you won't be able to lift your truck...

Nitrogen is cheaper on the short run and show truck.
Daily drive on nitrogen suck IMO. having to have the tank fillup :|
the MMW control Arm to lay 32" tall tire(stock 20") are 1400$(raised uppers) (the 1000$ kit is only good for 29"(stock 17")
notch and bridge cost 300 to 400$.
To maintain a truck function..watts link (400$)
Yes it can be done cheap..but after I had saw "cheap custom" setup on streetsource....it's scary what some have done. Custom lower arm with halfass welds, rear 2 link with bag on bar, flemsy notch.
Well I prefer to do it right and keep my truck been a truck and not becoming a jetta.

If you can bag your truck for less then $3000 you are getting awesome deals and probably buying some stuff used. Nothing wrong with that but the people who have posted in this thread have no clue. (most of them) There is some good info so far.
Nitrogen has it's advatages but VERY rare to be used. Many reasons and the main one is it is a pain in the *** over all.
Air ride is amazig, you can actualy haul a lot more then factory and the ride and handling is also much better then stock. The ONLY down side to air ride is cost. Typicaly you will have $4000-$6000 in a set up. That is you doing to work. Quick run down.
Compressors(2)- $600-$800
Valves- $300-$500
Line and fittings- $200+
Bags and link set up- All depends but $1500 I would guess bare minimum
Tank- $150 and two tanks are always nice
Switches and wiring- $300
There some other small things that add up quick.

I'm still not catching why nitrogen is a pain to run? Even using it on a daily driver to work and back...1 tank lasts a month or so. $40 a year gets you unlimited fills if you own your tanks. Nitrogen is so much better than compressed air. You have much more maintenance and problems from water and rust and trash in your tanks with compressors. Plus if you run dual compressors (good ones) it's still slow and you tax your charging system quite a bit.

I have only heard of one person using nitrogen. I am sure there is a reason for it.
With nitrogen you typicaly have a larger tank plus regulators and you have to get it filled when it get's low. The only person I remember seeing talk about nitrogen they were talking about getting rid of it and buying compressors.
I am not sure where you are getting unlimited refils a year for $40, this isn't a McDonalds large pop haha.

There's welding supply stores that can set you up on a contract. If you only use your switches to raise it to drive...and drop it when you get home..a compressor might suit that person....but really....who does that? Having to wait on a dual air zenith $650 setup to fill your dual 5 gallon tanks cuz you got switch happy while cruising sucks. Just as you have to be disciplined with how you drive...heights, pressures, etc, is how you need to be with nitrogen. Just pay attention to how much pressure you have left. It's instant constant air til it runs out. Run a Schrader valve for a plan b so you can air up if something does go wrong. I carried one in my glove box on a 1/2 ptc for emergencies.
