Any tips you guys wanna give for installing the kit. I'm gonna have a "free day" at work tomorrow, where I have 10 hours to kill. I have a shop with plenty of tools but I'll be doing the kit off the floor. I also have a extra pair of front struts so I will ahve the fronts and assembled and ready to remove and replace the assemblies.

Fronts are way easier and faster than the back. Not sure what the instructions say, but save time and use a cut off wheel to remove the front leaf spring hanger bolts. Maxtrac called to drop the fuel tank and exhaust but that’s an extra 45 mins or more of work for me. Make sure you put something on the tank to protect it in case you slip with the wheel. Triple check your U bolt retention brackets up top to ensure they perfectly centered on the factory spring perches of the axle. If one end of the bracket is too far forward or back, it’ll start to bend once you torque the U bolts down. I wish the brackets had locating tabs welded on them, would make it so much easier. Also, it’s much easier having two people when removing and installing the leafs back in, those suckers are heavy. Good luck!

Thank you ford the advice on cutting that bolt...don't wanna have to lower the tank.

About to order tires...still not sure 285/50r20 or 305/50r20. Just gonna do a 2" up front and then the flip kit, shouldn't bee too low on a 4x4

You prolly already realize it, but 285/50 is gonna be smaller than stock. Pros and cons to that

Gonna see slightly lower ride height. Not sure how the overall package is gonna look (it seems sometimes smaller looks better, sometimes worse, depending on the wheel size).

One benefit: truck will be a little quicker (shorter gear ratio, potentially lighter weight tire, definitely less rubber to put down on ground)

I’m pretty sure I’ve seen a RCSB 2015-up F150 running a drop with smaller diameter tires on factory 20’s.

But he was also dropped like 4/6 if I recall.

I don’t remember the user....don’t think he’s been on lately, but was one of the OG’s in the lowering threads.

275/55r20 are 31.91" tall and 10.83" wide

285/50r20 are 31.22" tall and 11.22" wide.

Not a HUGE difference but should help these 3.31 gears out alot. I'm gonna set the leveling kit on 2/4 and go from there. See how it looks. i'll be running some wore out stock hankooks for a week or two.

Hoping I can install the front strusts the way I did with the leveling kit...lower the lower control arm and pull the strut assemblies out and replace. Should take 1.5 hours for the front maybe..since I alreay have a spair set of struts I'm putting the belltech struts together with so the front is just remove and replace...the rear flip...yikes.

So im actually saving myself the headache of putting the kit on, a shop is doing it for $450. Local small town that custom builds a lot of hot rods. Only down side is they don't have an alignment machine. But with the few tools I would need to buy i am glad to pay $450
