The 2/3 kit will ride better since front shocks get replaced and rear shocks also.

Looking for a quote shipped to 98230...
1) 2012 Lariat Screw
2) 4wd
3) 2/4? (want to be able to accomodate 22"s in the future and tow)
4) around $1000
5) No preference as to brand, but looking for longevity and quality
Rear ground to fender measures 39.5"; front is 37.5". I believe the rear blocks are 1.5".
Thanks!

then you would do the drop kit from there. If you did shackles in rear would put you at 36 and front you cold do drop struts for 2 inches would put you at 35.5.
You can run a 285 45 22 with that set up no problem. DO you want to go lower?

Okay, let's say that the rear blocks will come out...
The set-up you suggested would work well. I wouldn't go any bigger on the tires and I don't want to go any lower than a 2" drop all around.
How would the ride compare to stock with that set-up?

the ride will be perfect on that drop kit. I did my uncles truck who has back pains and is 76 years old about 3 months ago same set up and no issues at all.

DJM/Belltech Direct..... Ok I have looked over all 108 pages and several hundred more on this and f150online forums.... I think I even asked a question of you.... here is where I am at.... Main concern is to slightly lower truck to make it easier for disabled daughter to get in, and easier on me loading her wheelchair in bed. I am not looking for sporty ride, more comfortable than stock if doable. I have narrowed it down to two options. 1. Groundforce 2/4 kit. My dealer uses it through DSI and thus keeps warranty. 2/4 is lowest I would go.. might even be to low for daily use and long trips???? Second option.... Belltech or KW set up 1" drop in front and 2" in rear... I have heard the belltechs are stiffer than stock... more sporty... then I saw you recommended the KW set up to guy looking for better ride, and that they are adjustable in rear to dial in ride... is that a bigger pain than its worth? I have 2012 fx2 crew, no block in rear, but it has 4 leaf set up.. I see some have 3 in rear... ???? Is KW same as belltech in rear? 2" shackles and shock? or did I misunderstand about rear adjustable? Then I read about the infamous vibration and even shims aren't enough... and people buy groundofrces carrier bearing bracket... so why not go whith them to start.... I am concerned if they had relation with ford but not many on the forums use it.

the belltech shocks ride better. Only thing i like ground force is because they have the cb kit. If your looking for a mild drop front drop struts by belltech are adjustable 0-3 inches rear belltech shackles for 2 inches (if you have a block you can remove it for 3) and rear belltech sp shocks. People need to realize if they have a block in the rear the flip kit will actaully lower 5 inches (if its a djm 4 inch block)
4 degree shim has served me well on the trucks ive done but im working with jeff at djm with making a carrier bearing kit for them

So If I go Belltech struts up front with 1" drop and the shocks with Shackle in rear with shims for 2" drop will there still be a chance on needing the CB bracket or are the shims enough....
