Default Your muffler of choice

So I deleted my rear cats a few months ago and was running stock manifolds to stock y pipe into a flowmaster 40 dumped again with rear cats removed. Liked the sound but was looking for still more agressive. I cut the flowmaster off tonight and am running just front cats to stock y dumped. Already can tell I don't like it. Loud but obviously sounds like any truck with the muffler cut off. Now I need to make a decision what to do next. My plan is eventually run into a 1-2 split and running dual tips in front of rear passenger tire. But I don't know what to do muffler wise. I want more agressive then my flowmaster 40 but I don't want it to sound like crap. If I was to buy one this instant I would go with a 10 series flowmaster. But from just being on the forum I see a lot of guys lean towards Borlas and magnaflows. So what's your guys opinion and what do you like

I'm running catless. Just gutted both sets. Not going to say this is the way to go, but it's definitely more aggressive. I'm also dumped right after the y with a cutout.

14" magnaflow 4" round body. Also known as the magnapack. It will be plenty loud on your truck and gives a deeper tone than the flowmaster.

I need 3 in 3 out. And they only have that in the 6 inch body that is 12 long.

14"-18" Oval body single in / single out. The oval body will help keep the popping to a minimum.

Yeah I have 2.5 though so that's how I got the 4" case. I just have a 3" tailpipe after the muffler. I think you'd like any of the shorter Maggies better than the flowmaster.

My F150 has a single inlet/dual outlet Flowmaster 50 series muffler with dual pipes that exit under the rear bumper. It sounds nice with a nice rumble as I accelerate but isn't overly obnoxious. It's a truck, not a Musclecar.

Now if you want some serious snot, try Spintech mufflers. I run Hooker Headers into 3" pipes into 3" Spintech Super Pro Street mufflers with 3" tails on my 72 Camaro behind a 500HP big block. That car just sounds sick.

When I'm coming home from a show or cruise night, my wife tells me she can hear me coming from a few minutes out.

So many options. Looked at spin tech website and wow I don't even know where to start with all there options. I'm really looking for something that's gonna be a loud as straight pipes but sound good.
