Default yet another front end question

Ok so, i put my pitman arm and idler arm on a few weeks go, been driving around w/out any issue besides my steering wheel off about an 1/8 of a turn.

Yesterday while getting off an exit ramp my steering felt really different. Like it was getting into a bind when turning to the right (my wheel is off to the left). I quickly pulled into a buddy of mines body shop and jacked it it up, couldn't see anything binding, or loose.

So, i decided today i would go ahead and swap tie rod ends before i took it to the alignment shop... Just finished inner and outters; drove it down the road, drives straight as an arrow, but still feels like there is a catch, or some binding in the linkage somewhere when turning to the right.

I'm taking it to an alignment shop tomorrow, just wondering if anyone else has came across this before, picking your brains lol.

Chris

I had my steering do some scary stuff - it would lock during turns, there were intermittent hard spots. I changed out the steering gear and the pump figuring that was causing the hard spots. I was wrong - the bearings in the steering column had been falling apart - changed out the column and good as new.

Steering column can really bind up at the bottom column bearing from crud falling into it. If you remove your linkage and turn the steering wheel easily you can feel the binding probably. It may come and go so it needs to be played with for quite some time to prove it to yourself that you need to pick up a new one. Your Steering Gear box can also bind if bearings on the rack are damaged. Usually moving the wheel the opposite way then back will free it up and prove the gear box is the bad boy. If you have experienced heavy shaking from the front end while driving above 50 mph this probably contributed to steer gear brg damage or other problems, parts could even have gotten bent out of allignment but you said it drives streight except for the wheel being a bit from streight, meaning something isn't right up front.
