Glad to hear you and your mother weren't hurt worse than you were. Hopefully your truck gets fixed properly.
It amazes me how often I read of people being in accidents with people who don't have insurance. Here in Canada this is much less prevalent.

Sorry to hear that man! I got rear ended about 2 weeks ago...... Same crap. Not the drivers car.... Car didn't cover him as a driver on insurance.... He had suspended license.... Luckily it didn't do anything to my truck. It scratched my bumper up and bent my tip and broke the exhaust hanger.... I was almost at a stop and he got me rolling at about 20 mph. I seen it happening in my mirror. But there was a car in front of me. He almost pushed me into the car but I just held my brakes after he hit me! Pushed me about 3 feet!

Sorry for the very delayed response. This has been a HUGE headache. The girl that hit me ended up not having insurance, no drivers license, not her car. The car owner *her grandmother* didnt have insurance either. I got it repaired out of my pocket. Luckily no frame damage the bumper was fixable. Had to reweld the mounting brackets, replace my back up camera, back up lights. In the end it cost me about $1300. My mother was actually just healing up from back surgery and is on leave from work now. Shes not doing so well at all in alot of pain. We are now having to get our attorney to sue the girl for medical expenses and truck repairs. Its going to be a long journey with this one. Her car got impounded for no insurance actually.

Did you get the grandmothers name? I would call up the law, if you are driving without a license, or insurance you are not allowed on the road, I.E. wreck was her fault so she would have to pay regardless of her insurance. Might have a few months or years in and out of court houses, but it will get paid.
