Default Would this be a fair trade?

I found another f150 on craigslist, 2000 scab 4x4, 4.6l. 130000 miles, it's lifted 8.5 inches on 35's, he also regard to 4.56's. Has navigation and two JL 10s in the rear, edge programmer, intake and exhaust. And he'll trade straight up for my screw, with 143000. Im saving for a lift and sound system, so this seems practical.

i might would do it..depends on how bad you want the lift..

just consider this, most of your mods, outside of suspension, can be done in a weekend, there fore if you wanted, you could knock those out and be back where you were on your screw, plus the lift and sound system..
also think about a good suspension lift is about a grand, and then a really good bangin system is a grand new, if you go like i did and piece it together off craigslist, you could be in it for 120 bucks (how much i got in mine, all installed by me)

but if you need that full back seat, it could be worth it to keep the screw..
im 17, i have plenty of room in my super cab, to do everything from ride 6 deep (with taking my subs out) semi comfortable, to... well what every teenager does with a BA 4x4 in these parts..

oh, and, the proper tuner and tune on that 4.6, along with a proper up keep, it can be just as good as your 5.4, my ex's dad has a screw with the 4.6 and it'll hang with my 5.4 all day, but he has to work pretty hard to get their 2 horse trailer moving while mine has no problem with it...

I like the screw space, but don't need it I'm not haulin a family or anything, and the other thing that intrigues me is that this trucks a stick and I've always wanted the 5 speed with the v8

personally, I'd go for it. But just make sure that the thing is as good or better than your current truck mechanically. A prettier truck isn't so good if it's stuck on the side of the road

i have no experience with the mod motors and a 5 speed, but my old '96 had a 5.0 and a 5 speed, talk about some freakin fun! just be careful, its a lot easier to throw it sideways on dirt or asphalt when you can throw it down in 2nd gear at 40 and nail it through a corner... man, its a wonder i never got caught...
oh and for any nay sayers out there, my '96 was NOT stock 5.0..
