Default Wont start

Battery is fine . Does not crank over. Could it be loose connection to starter. Also do not know if it matters but it's been raining all day. Any suggestions or tips would be appreciated

Check starter cable connection at starter. Common to have corrosion there. Cable will often rot right off.

Checked the connection to the starter and it appears to be fine . And seems to have power to it . Would there be anything else I could check? Or should I go further and take the connection off the starter and clean them and put back on ? Or could it even be the battery having a bad cell? But to me it seems like the battery is fine cuz everything lights up and radio comes on

A quick check for the batt would be to have your buddy crank the engine while you watch batt voltage with a volt meter. It should not drop below 9.6V during 15 seconds of cranking. If it does it's probably time. Even with low batt voltage you'll usually still hear the solenoid click when trying to crank.

If you've got signal to starter and power on battery cable and it doesn't turn, try grounding starter body with a booster cable. If this makes no difference-replace the starter.

I jumped out the ignition siloniod with a screw driver and the starter did not try and start? If that helps any ... Could that mean its a starter? I'll check the battery too

Alright checked the battery and that's good... I read online if I jumped out the ignition siloniod that the starter would try and start and I've tryed it and it does not try to start so I'm guessing the the starter or siloniod on the starter is bad becuz I'm getting power down to the starter and the connections look good on it ?? Am I right?

Yes, you're right.

I'm assuming you jumped the big terminal to the little one!

Are you fully in park? Happened to me before, nothing worse than starting to replace parts to find you never locked it in all the way, oops

Did you put the wires off the starter solenoid? I had a non start issue in wet weather. Turned out the positive wire had come loose and the water/mud had corroded the metal. Wire brushed it, connected and she starts fine now. May be that easy
