Default Windshield wiper switch replacement?

So ever since I've owned my truck, my windshield wipers have sucked... On the multy switch, every other setting works and if I turn them on the fastest setting they will go (which is slower than snot) they work fine for a while then they'll freeze which is not safe and I've had some close calls..... You think Its the switch and I should just replace it?

Here is a video on how to remove everything including the steering wheel. Don't know that removing the steeing wheel in necessary but you may have to disable the airbag before you start removal of the multi switch.

you shouldnt have to remove the steering wheel. just unhook the battery. take the cover off of the back of the steering wheel and unscrew the wiper switch. there should be a single screw holding it down. take it apart and install a new one.
