Just stopped moving

Just stopped moving
So I was pulling out into traffic the other day in my 2000 f-150 and I was accelerating like normal then all of the sudden it just stopped accelerating. The rpm's kept going because my foot was still on the gas for a second but no acceleration. Got towed home topped fluid off, still nothing. Its like every gear is neutral, can anyone help?

yeah, I was afraid of that. It was just so weird, the truck showed no signs of having a bad trans at all. I guess I was just seeing if there were any other possibilities.
