Default Window wiring

I am thoroughly puzzled. I have replaced my driver side window motor, replaced the swith, and replaced the one touch down relay. I am able to get the window motor to move in the up position. I can also use the master switch to operate the passenged side. But I cannot get the window to operate in the down position. DOES ANYONE HAVE SUGGESTIONS. Also ran a hot wire to the down side of the motor and got nothing.

You should be able to get the motor to go down by switching the two wire connection at the motor. Use the switch in the up position, now the window should go down. If not, motor is bad. If it goes down, rule out the motor at this point. Does the one touch down relay click when using the window switch? Can check power output from the back of the switch. Should be 4 or 5 wires per switch; power, ground and two wires for switched power output. Ruling out good or bad new parts.

Default Window problems

Thanks for the reply. I have tried that and can't get the motor to run down. It's strange to think that it's the motor since it's new but it sounds like it is. I'll let you know. Thanks again
