Window tint
whats the difference between all the air blue, Eco tint an ceramic tint? in the new Orleans area I got my front 2 windows done for $43.73 @20%. I don't know what kind of tint used but it also came with a lifetime warranty incase it fades it bubbles yrs down the line to bring it back an they will fix it no charge.
Air Blue is a brand of tint that can be used on any glass in an automobile (even windshields) due to it's clear properties. It blocks more UV rays than darker tint, even tough it's clear. My windshield is completely covered in the stuff because we all know how hot a dash can get by setting out in the sun all day. I didn't believe in the stuff at first, but once it was applied, I immediately noticed the difference. No more sitting in traffic while my arms or other body parts cooked in the sunlight. Here's their website http://www.tintplus.com/default.cfm?...nting-air-blue
Ceramic and metalized tints are types of tint. Ceramics are supposed to interfere less with cell phone and GPS signals, although I've never had a problem with metallic films either. Eco Tint is a business here in Vegas that does great work and stands by their products. I reviewed them several times before heading to their place and I was very pleased with the final product. Hope this helps.

actually the manufacturer of the tint we use makes a CXP 80 which is ceramic and virtually clear. we use it for windshields all the time. you can't even tell it's tinted and you still get 99.9% of the UV protection as well as about 80% heat rejection. the air blue film has a blue look to it, even though it's slight, and our film is clear with no color look to it.
