have you ever put windex instead of washer fluid? why is the statement so ridiculous windex contains ammonia like you said yourself
Ammonia is corrosive i would worry about messing up the pump or the plastic or rubber lines.

It is a ridiculous statement because a) you are wrong and b) you have nothing to back it up, you just assumed something and said it. You assumed windex is a very harsh cleaning solution when it is not. the concentration of ammonia in windex is minimal. Once again I highly doubt using windex would destroy washer fluid system

It's been stated in this thread already, but even the best washer fluid is cheaper then Windex. I recommend Rain-X washer fluid or the Prestone Bug wash. They both work great and aren't expensive.

don't relocate the jet just run the hose from the jets to inside the cab on the whiskey idea. i like to use the rainx washer fluid then i use my wipers half as much.

so have you used windex in your washer reservoir or do you know anyone that has? do you have anything to back up your statement or are you just assuming that you know more than everyone else?
