Is it the wind?
So, I am relatively new to driving a big truck. I drove a ranger before.
Now I have a 2003 f150 Screw with 285's and about a 3 or 4 inch lift kit.
Today I was driving and my truck was moving all over the road. I was honestly worried that I was going to uncontrollably veer into another lane at some points.
Is it the wind doing that?
I have brand new mud tires on there...is that a trait of mud tires?
I also completely redid front suspension and steering, new idler arm, pitman arm, tie rods, ball joints, etc etc. I did the work myself, but had it realigned (twice). They said everything checked out great. And yes, I used moog.
What are your thoughts? Am I just not used to the wind in a bigger, blockier truck...or is there something off?

You shouldn't be feeling like you're truck is uncontrollable, I have a '97 F-150 on a 5" lift with 35's and I feel in control even going 70 mph in high wind. My '99 F-350 on the other hand is a different story. It is on a 6" lift with 37" super swampers, and it was a solid ride until my damn sway bar broke lol. I pulled the sway bar out and now it is REALLY tippsy in higher wind. Does your truck still have the sway bar / is it installed right?
Mud tires do ride different, but they shouldn't make you feel un stable in wind. I've ran around on Cooper discoverer STT's, Good year fierce attitude's, Toyo M/T's, and Super swampers, none of them made me feel like I lost any control.

Ahh prob is my sway bar.
I went to replace the sway bar bushings and swag bar links last week. The new sway bar bushings didn't fit so I put the old stuff back on. But the old stuff was OLD!
I've got moog links and bushings so I'll do that.
I've gotten pushed around on my motorcycle. And also in my 1990 box style astro minivan (rape mobile). But I thought certainly, this big *** truck should plow through a hurricane. I weighed it at the dump other day, with me and full tank it was a lil over 5400 lbs
