I've been told that certain year Expy mirrors will fit Screws as direct bolt-ons. I'm just not sure what year Expy I should be looking for.

They bolt right up, but you'll have to do some wiring if you want the functionality. The connections are different. I did have to trim like 1/8th inch around the bottom window seal, but it probably isn't necessary.

What did you use to map the wires across the plug. I mean, how did you determine which wires on the truck went to which wires on the mirrors? Also, it's hard to tell from the pictures, but do these mirrors add a lot more coverage? I have those slide on extension mirrors for when I tow my camper, and would love to get rid of them. Thanks.

The expedition mirrors are quite a bit larger, and yes they do stick out farther which is the main reason that I did the swap. I pull an enclosed trailer almost every weekend during the summer, and these help a lot. I didn't measure to see how much farther out they actually are. I'll try to get that.

As far as the wiring, it took me a while to track that down. I had to find the schematics of each vehicle. Once I had that, it was fairly easy. I have that written down, so I can help you out with that. I should take some time and make a write-up.

Check out this thread. The 2nd to last post explains some of the wiring.
