why is it still missing
UPDATE got up this morning and got in bam missing like crazy drove fine all day yesterday after the episode yesterday morning... and naa i havent washed engine.. im goin to try to change the wires and see what hapenes..
im pulling out my hair... i changed the plug wires the night of the last post and it has ran fine since then driving just earlier it has started to miss again i am at a dead end does any one els have any suggestions....
it looks fine from looking at it i have never messed with them though.. can u test them .. its just kinda expensive to go buy and that still not be it .. didnt know if there is any thing els besides that it could be before i bougt one
How many miles since its been replaced? Was the vehicle sitting?
If you read back another member suggested one way to test it... They are a known issue anyway, we were giving the cheaper things to try first which probably could use replacing anyway as preventive maintenance...
Also how about a fuel filter? And running some injector cleaner? Look up how to properly sea foam the truck?
Take care of the vehicle and it will take care of you... But the coil pack is next.
Is this definitely a miss in a cylinder and not a slip somewhere else?
