my buddy has a 06 07 or somthin toyota sequia which i think has a 4.2 v8 an he says it has true duals with cats no mufflers he says his is louder than mine my f150 has 5.4 v8 an two cats and a y pipe at the end with like 4-5 inch tips so whose louder?

If you have a muffler and he doesn't, I would assume he would be louder. FWIW, your friend's Toyota has a 4.7ltr V8.

 

His may be louder but I bet yours sounds better. For an exhaust system you really shouldn't worry about whose is the loudest, but whose sounds the best. Two completely different things, because usually the loudest trucks sound the worst.

You can have straight pipes and have the loudest exhaust, but it is not the best sounding.
Look at motorcycles, the loudest is not the best sounding.

As for whose is "loudest", do either of you have a smart phone? There are apps out there that measure sound volume.

I guess I am getting older, I like my quiet exhausts. My manhood is not defined by how loud (or tall, or bright, or expensive) my vehicle is.

 

A video would help.... I've never even seen a modified sequioa so I really couldn't say

 

I know the loudest dont matter personaly i dont care he just keeps talkin an i really dont wanna be reving in the school parking lot lol an i dont know his liter size i was just researching it but i dont have a muffler either and i know mine sounds better but his says his "car" is louder than the two true dual straight piped chevy's at school which i find hard to believe and i kno whos the loudest at school my buddy in the red an primer dodge loudest but worst sounding
