Default who's done the gotts mod?

ok I know there are a lot of questions asked about this all the time and I have looked at a couple of how-to's and my question is in a 97-03 f150 how long does the pipe need to be? I know it should be 3" wide but how long should it be? I'm about to go to homedepot and get everything I need

That's why you use the regular stuff, not the schedule 40. You simply squeeze it with your hand and insert it through the wall.
There's no need for any thing heavier.
