Default Wheels and tires

Just bought some new wheels for my truck they are 5x135mm so I know they will fit but the wheel is 16x8 can I still put my 255/70/16 tires on them or am I looking to buy new ones?

Haha, I know man, I was kiddin... there's never any hard feelings on here...

I like the idea of the lights behind the grille... Bull bars are nice and you could always do some modification to make the hooks work or D-rings but it seems more trouble than what is worth...

New heads n tails? Nice! I'm gonna get me some someday, just the stock ones I got haven't bothered me enough yet...

And as far as lifting.... We talking 4x4?

Awesome! Congrats man!

See you ain't a bad guy at all givin the '88 up haha jk, good man I'm sure your nephew is grateful...

Well, I hate to say it but there's only a few ways we can lift these trucks...

The aftermarket keys are a joke, read my post in this link...
https://www.f150forum.com/f6/truth-a...-56399/index2/

So your stock keys can be cranked up to that safety number... And an optional 3-4" block in the rear... $58.00

A 2-3" body lift... $150-$280

Next is a full on suspension lift $1-3k+

Here is my buddys I just put my old wheels on his truck, I mounted some 33x12.5s I had lyin around on em, just a stock torsion crank

And I will say, I think his truck looks pretty B-A after the swap though... like night n day with a mean wide stance...

The wheels are 9.75" wide with 4.5" back spacing...

So a 5.5" wider stance at the lip of the wheels than stock

Ok here's the question with a stock tbar crank can I still wheel? Sometimes I do get that urge to go. I don't want to mess my truck up. I just want a little bump up sometime soon so I can fit some 33's or 35's under her and still have her look nice and drive well enough that I can still take her to work. Am I better off getting a leveling kit? You tell me my 88 was cranked 6" suspension 4" body with 35"
atkos that truck was fun but i could only drive it wheelin that Windsor has 103xxx on it and I just want a little boost up there in my 2003 I wasn't planning on it but after seein you guys trucks I want lights and a lift with some bigger tires

Well, it depends on how comfortable you are with a bit of a stiffer ride...

A leveling kit won't do anything for you that your stock keys can't do... Besides break your truck... Idk if you read that thread I posted... But they function on the same exact concept yet they allow you to over do it...

You should be fine crankin the stock keys, just a bit stiffer (not too bad in my opinion) and you can still wheel it mildly without having problems...
