Have you considered checking out the junkyard? (You are referring to the plastic liner above the tires, yes?)

A lot cheaper than new....even with new retainers/hardware....and a guaranteed exact fit.

Husky Liners offers the most well known line on the market.

Good idea on the junkyard. I haven't found anybody that makes them new for my truck.
I didn't know the 2001 had these as an option from the dealer.

Here's an idea for you....unless you like hanging about the junkyard.
Parts Geek has a selection of junkyard parts.

Ooops, didn't notice that. I did find the rears....but for a bit more than the fronts (quite a bit)

You're from upstate NY, there should be plenty of junkyards to pick from. There used to be a couple of big ones near Utica. I grew up and spent a lot of my life in the Hudson Valley.....a lot of the junkyards I use to visit have vanished so the ones I recall from your area may not be there now.

You do NOT want the aftermarket wheel well liners. I learned the hard way when my parts geek liners showed up and they were paper thin grey plastic.... You want OE junkyard liners or try and find true ford stock.....also there are no rear drop in liners for these trucks. Ever.

Those are for pre-96
Assuming junkyard won't have them for 2001 since it appears (I could be wrong) they weren't an option.

Agreed and learned hands on as well, right after you did I think lol. Mine came from a different OEM supplier. They were black from that one but thin. Going to attempt to install in the rear but they will have to be customized + added material. The best custom for the rear that I've seen were from the older big broncos (fullsize). And that's only because they had a lot of metal to manipulate.

No easy way for the rear.
