Default Wheel spacers?

Was thinking of buying some Wheel Spacers to get a nice stance going because I don't have money for offset rims. I saw some 3 Inch spacers made of T6 aluminum. I'm just wondering if they would be safe and wanted your guys thoughts. Do you guys use them? Could you post some pics? Thanks!

I won't use spacers again. This is your safety on the line don't go cheap.

If I would have caught that I used the wrong lug nuts I may have been fine, but I didn't. People will tell you as long as you have quality parts you will be fine, but it is just another part that can break. Some people have had good experience, some have had horrible experience. I think either way 3" is WAY too big.

Yeah that's a big red flag. Thanks for the input!

self centering lugs. The spacers are counter sunk. He used regular lug nuts that wernt designed for countersunk spacers. TERRIBLE AWFUL WORST IDEA EVER. Idk how he didn't catch that right away... But thats why they shredded.

gotcha. So they don't come with the lug nuts then? Are the 14 or 12 mm? I have an extra set of 12 self centering laying nuts around

mine didn't, i had to go get them. If your studs are 12mm then your good. Aslong as the spacers are the same. These are what I'm talking about.

Oh ok. I bought a set of 12s and 14s when I got my new wheels because I wasn't sure what size my studs where. I only payed $15 for each set (got them whole sale) that's why I got both sizes. I only uses the 14s. I wasn't sure If the spacers came all as one size studs no matter what year truck they are going on or not

It's hard to find rims with enough off set on 5x135 that won't cost you an arm and a leg
