Default Wheel Spacers?

Had a guy tell me my truck would look "beefy" with some wheel spacers. Any opinions on wear and tear on truck and if they are worth it? Thought about it before but never seriously.

Are those better for wear on bearings and such?

I'm not a fan of wheel spacers. This is a touchy subject though, everyone has their own opinion. I have had a bad experience with them so I will personally never put them on my truck again. My tire fell off going down the road so when it comes to spacers or new wheels, I would get the wheels with the offset you want.

Hub centric is better for wear and it doesn't leave your wheel bouncing down the road like the cheap ebay junk.

You probably didn't have good spacers, and if you did you didn't install them correctly.

Make sure you read up on the install, retorque them after 50 miles then check them every oil change.

IDK what I got, I payed 200 bucks for them though haha. What happened was is they sent me the wrong lug nuts to put them on my truck, but I didn't notice that. Needless to say, 50 mph down the road I hear a click BOOM, see my fender flare go this way, my tire go that way, my truck down. A ball joint, rotor and fender later, I was back on the road. Like I said, I would opt for new wheels with the offset you want VS spacers. I have a skewed opinion though, but so does everyone who has had them.

That's good to know. I am still on the fence. I think they would look awesome and are more budget sensitive than new wheels. But after hearing your story I am very hesitant.
