Default wheel options

I just bought a '97 F-150 2WD. Right now it has the steel chrome cover 16" rims. They look ok on the truck. But they just dont fit my taste and dont do the truck justice. Im wondering if rims/tires off of a 4WD '97-'03 F-150 would work? Would the tires rub? I really like the rims off of the Lightnings and the Heritage edition F-150's (the nice ones in '03 not the '04 "Heritage" F-150's made up of left over parts). I like the FX4 rims too. Im just wondering what rims/tires will fit on our F-150 and what to start looking for.

If anyone has a 2WD with different rims/tires, please post pics/links for me.

Thanks.

I'm on the hunt for larger rims (stock) if possible. Current size on mine is 16, while I do see a number of Expedition rims that are 17", with the 5-lug bolt pattern. As long as you don't go for a 31" tire, or anything over a 265/70/x, there should be no rub of any kind (as long as the offset is the same as stock). If you can find someone that is willing to give up Lightning rims...jump on them!
