Default Wheel offset

I'm lookin for a wide stance! What will some 20x12 fuel rampage wheels with -44 offset and 4.750 back spacing with 2in wheels adapters and 40x14.50x20 super swamper m16's give me for stance? How many inches past wheel well? I don't understand how offset and back spacing works

theres a search button. You can use it and find lots of info about offsets and how they look.

You are going to run 40's with 2" adapters? I wouldn't even attempt that one haha. Take the spacers out of the equation and roll the dice so that the rest of us can see if we want to do it or not- on your dime of course.

Yeah, the search button, there's an explosions of **** results right there. 10 years of "Use the search button." and people trying to be "artistic" with their cameras, taking the worst pictures ever. ;p

Searching helps a lot but it's not the end all for a question like, how something looks or "what's a better..?"

He has 107 threads asking about his truck. I don't think he's ever contributed useful info to anyone else.

He cannot understand search...but that may be the least of it. He even posted about 20's before.

I've given up. I vote he should get a bicycle and call it a day.

If you don't understand wheel offset and backspacing and what it does to the geometry and stress of your axles you shouldn't be playing with it. Wheel spacers are NEVER a good idea PERIOD! They put excessive stress on unit bearings and the wheel studs and WILL cause a catastrophic failure.
