Default Wheel noise

My front wheel just started squeaking and I think that is is a bear or something. What do ya'll think it is? It is 2001 screw 2wd with 120000 miles. since there is no grease zurts I'm thinking one of the "lifetime" bearings has gone out. Any help and/suggestions on how to figure out exactly what is the issue would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Yes, possibly the bearing

By the way, it's a zerk not a zurt. "Zurts" made me laugh.

LOL yeah I know it is zerk I noticed after I hit submit. Oh well I was working on 3 hours of sleep yesterday . I looked like this driving to work at 5 in the morning after 3 hours of sleep trying to stay awake.

Is there any really good way to check to see if it is the bearing I tried to listen to it last night when my wife moved the truck. I should get off work earlier today so I can jack it up and spin the wheel and try and find the source. On Can the bearing be repacked or does the whole assembly have to be replaced?

do you notice it getting worse or stopping when you take a right or left hand turn?

I feel like an idiot. It was the wear strip on the brake pads. It didn't sound like the wear strip though in my defense. So changedthe pads last night and now everything is nice and quiet.

Now it's time to find the time to replace the shocks and body mounts there getting a little stiff and cracked at 120K.
