wheel alignment on a 1998 F150 without the Eibach Alignment Kit
So I went and asked the mechanic about a wheel alignment. He said I need a Camber/Caster Alignment Kit on to my 1998 F150, then a wheel alignment. C$300 CAD installed & alignment. Why can't I just get a wheel alignment without the Camber/Caster Kit part, like how they aligned it before the Camber/Caster Kit part? I managed to get by with out it up tell I went off road. Now the steering is off.

Without the camber kit you can adjust the camber by adjusting the torsion bars. To do it right you have to have the cam bolts in the upper control arms. As for the steering wheel being straight, that's all in your tie rod ends just make sure you turn them both the same amount of turns.
Well ill try it on the highway. Last summer the steering wheel was off to go straight. Brought it in the shop and he said C$700 CAD, so i parked it over the winter. I think he said wheel hub and tie rods. So i bought them parts last month and checked it couple days ago and it is good now. I checked that hub with my uncle last summer and we thought the hub was bad too. Hubs dont fix them selfs lol. Also found my steering wheel don't lock when truck is off. I had the front on jack stand and can turn the wheel by hand, no locking steering wheel.
