Thanks for the replies, folks. The rust on the bottom of Greenie can be replaced for around $1000. Saw off the grey trim area, weld on new metal, paint. I would do this if the bed wasn't in such bad shape. The tailgate is welded shut, it's so bad. I found a used bed for $300. Oh well, I'm in no hurry, I'll just drive the green truck until I make a decision. kjburns, those tires you bought, are they around 200 bucks each? I'm not a big tire guy, mine are going to be sold on craigslist, tires and rims.

 

I personally like the red truck better, but I may have a color bias lol. If you have a few extra bucks laying around I would take them both to a mechanic and as the mechanic which one will be the cheapest truck to fix up / which one will be the better one.
