Another option instead of spending 10k on a ok 04-05 that could have those engine problems why not spend less on a nice 03

man to be honest you just need a engine hoist and basic hand tools... I got a thread of me doing it on here I dunno how to post a link to it. I pulled the motor in one day and put it in the next weekend. But now I have done it a few times it's not hard to me. Just as long as you have common sense and some mechanical skills you should be able to handle it. make sure you unplug the front 02 sensors as there are part of the engine wire harness... So many people don't do this and rip the wires out pull the intake off the motor while it's in the truck gives you more room to get the engine out. Also you can take the top 2 trans bolts out from up top then.

lol i don't tear them up.... I buy them tore up and fix them... And my friends buy them broke and call me to fix em. I really have done it too many times.... My buddy works at long lewis ford here in Corinth and he tells me all the time he would just call me on a 97-03 f150 if he ever needs advice ha. I fixed his 4wd in 5 mins at a car wash... He had been trying to figure it out for months... He Actually put a front diff in it thinking that was it lol it would go into 4wd but when he gassed on it it would pop really loud and the front diff would disengage and reengage constantly.
