had the truck about a month and need more budget mod ideas

what's already done
torsion bar cranked to level heighth
pacer 16x10 bulletholes with 285/75/16 cyclone a/t
quiet flowmaster from previous owner
toolbox
billet grill overlay

what I have planned
darker tint
different rims (when I can afford it lol)
tinted taillights
true dual straight pipes
bull bar maybe

 

I'd say new tailgate should be number 1.

Then toolbox delete as number 2.

 

I was going to say new tailgate also.
Sticks out like a sore thumb, no matter what you do to the truck, that is what people will see and remember.

 

what you got against the toolbox tackle?

 

I think they look ridiculous unless it's on a work truck.

I keep all my tools/etc in a small removable tote. All too often I run out of space in the bed. Couldn't imagine having to take a big ole ugly toolbox in and out.

 

Some of us haul around more than a couple fishing poles tackle. Haha jk I need to get a tool box.

 

If I had to keep everything I use for work in a removable tote then I would be screwed when it came time to take it in and out. LOL

 

it does take up a lot of space but its nice to keep all my tie downs and tools in and its nice to keep stuff dry

 

Nope to the bull bar. I would just get a 4x4 valence with depo fogs, xlt mirrors, ptm bumper pad up front, door handles, and flares and call her a day.

 

Keep stuff dry and no one can steal it!
