What should i do
So right now i have a 98 f150 2wd with fabtech old lift kit which is a 3.5" lift spindle with a 3.5" coil bring it to a 7" lift. I have been having a hard time with this lift set up and keeps causing me problems and i don't want to keep spending money on things that might not fix it. (Right now when i go into reverse a few feet i get negative camber like no other and dragging the tires) I have 315/75r16 tires on it.
So I thought about removing the coil and putting a stock coil back in, and just having a 3.5" spindle lift.
What are the biggest tires i can run with a 3.5" lift?
My trans is geared for the 35" tires i think 4:56? If i put on 33"-34" tires would i have to re-gear or can i keep the gearing the same way as i would not like to put more money into this truck.

I would put the stock coil back in. You could maybe run a spacer or something to get those 35s in. 33s with 4.56s would be like having 4.30s with stock tires. It's not unheard of but it's not really desirable if you drive the highway. Would be bad fast though!
It's your differential thats geared to 4.56...not your trans.
Before you remove anything you need to make sure all your "wear" items are in working condition. Ball joints, rod ends...worn and shot steering and suspension components are usually the cause of problems like this.

All new ball joints a put on in June, replaced the idler arm, going to replace the pitman arm this week along with new bump stops.
I am taking the truck to offroad warehouse for a inspection hopefully they can figure out what is wrong, as 4 wheel parts took a look and told me its normal in im pretty sure dragging your tires in reverse is not normal lol.
Just looking at my options as I don't really need a 7" lift since its really just for looks. Wonder
does the gearing make that big of difference?

Like it's tearing the inside of the tire pretty badly.

I've had that same problem but my question is that I have the ***tech coil spring not sure if there a lift spring or what but could I throw my stocks back in and still have the spindle lift and same 3.5inch lift and still clear my 37's or will it drop since the stocks are back in..?
Thanks, I have made like 20 of them from different types of bottles haha.
Hopefully tomorrow offroad warehouse can figure out what my problem is, and hopefully it wont cost to much to fix.
@Rmfjr100: I don't believe you can run 37's on a 3.5" lift. That goes with 35" tires too. If i am correct you need a minimum of 6" lift for 35" tires.
