Default what is this room good for?

When i open the glove compartment, seen from the right side.
there is a little room, about 15cm in depth 15cm high and 3cm wide.

For what is this?
for CD Changer it is to small.

Dam, never knew that space was there, all this time that manual has been hogging up half the glove box space.

Uhhhh, is it just for the case? I tried to put my owners manual in there just now and it isn't fitting. The only way I see to get it in there is to pull the glove box door down past it's stopping point but I have. I idea how to do that and it's kind of pointless if you need the manual.

^haha, good point, but I'd hate to have to wrestle with it. Figure I'll just keep it in the console, for some reason mine won't fit.

It's also about the perfect size for some CB's if you want it mounted out of the way like I would

Mine fits good. To make it easier you could always push the 2 tabs at the top on each side over and let your glove box down a bit further
