Ahhh, I see. Mine's different, the case is bigger. I'm gonna try to pull the door down lower and get it in there, I want it out of the console.

yea, i think the 99+ had the bigger cases because the picture posted looks just like the one that was in my 96. i have a much bigger case

Open the passenger side door and sneak it in from the side of the glove box door! that way you don't stress anything

Tried that, didn't work. I'll just release the catches on it and let it down all the way, no stress on it.

Fount the spot though, I know where I'm putting a Blackhawk holster mount someday. For now the manual is in there.

so you would just stick the cb in the little hole thing an it would stay ya think? how would you mount it?

It wouldn't be hard to make a mount and if you needed the mic just run the cord out the front were it latches, I charge my phone in the shade in there during the summer so it doesn't get crazy hot. There's a big enough gap there to run the cord no problem.
