What is the normal range of trans fluid temps?
Ok, I just got my Scanguage II and I plan to use it to monitor my tranny fluid temp while towing.
What is the "normal" range of fluid temperature I should be seeing?
Just driving around the neighborhood this evening I was reading between 120 and 135 degrees.
What is the maximum temperature you can reach before cooking the fluid or doing damage?
My truck is a 97 4X4 XLT Scab, 4.6L 3.55LS and factory towing package.
Only performance mod is a Gibson Cat back exhaust.
