Default What kind of toolbox?

I'm going to buy a tool box for my truck but can't decide between a low profile box or a regular 4 inch box. Any suggestions on what would look better?

I like mine with the big top on it because I can put my tie downs and things I use a lot in those slots.

Lo pro for me, I've had both. With tailgate down and backing up to boat trailer I can see better

I agree with both of the above, but in the end I vote for being able to see better! low pro!

I also prefer the low profile toolbox, I like that I can see better backing up with it. The only thing else I would say is if you buy a tool box with a split top, make sure the same key opens both locks. One of mine has two different keys for the locks on either side, which I suppose is for security reasons (but there is no divider in the box, so you can get anything in the box from either door if you try lol).

Also, cheap option: go to a junk yard, there are tons of old trucks there with them (at least where Im at) just take out the lock and put in a new one!
