Default Daytime Running Lights

Anybody know why my DTLs would turn themself off?

I'm glad, because I wanted to disable it anyway, but they just stopped coming on by themselves. WTF?

The wire that regulates those (under the drivers side light) could have worn out.

I can't recall what that's connected to. I looked it up because I wanted to disable them too.

From what I read: that's the only way to do it.

If your headlights work at night. You're alright (I assume).

May have blown the relay? I think. Or maybe it became disconnected from the surfboard

Your Daytime Running Light Module, that controls them is shot. When it dies it either leaves the lights on 24/7, or it just makes them not come on at all. It's located on the bottom rad support on I believe its the drivers side. Kinda up by the bumper. Pain to get to, but possible. Easy to replace if you want them back on.

That's what I thought, but the odd thing is the headlights work on both low and high beam.

Maybe the truck is intuitive and knew I wanted the DTLs disabled, so it did it for me. LOL
