What did you do to your 10th gen today?

WOW! Last post was October??? I had to go back four pages!
Installed a set of Depot fogs today. They would've gone in last weekend when I did the oil change, but when I removed the OEM fogs and saw how pitted they were, I ordered some PPF for some protection. That came last evening and got applied when I broke for lunch today. The PPF didn't go on as cleanly on one of the lenses (the first one) as I wanted because I had too much soap in the application solution which left some little "bubble-streaks" under the film. It should clear up in a few days. If not, and it bugs me, another $11 and an hour of so will be the fix. I really like the look of these lights, with the black Harley headlights and turn signals, and am surprised I didn't do it sooner. They have a good, clean, "fog light" pattern, but the lights are set in the brackets just a bit off level when installed resulting in the outside being a bit higher than the inside. A couple of washers might level them out, but that will have to wait for warmer weather.
And a note to anyone thinking of putting LED's in these (or the OEM) fogs: Any 9145 LED bulb I found has the chips 90° out of position. Because Ford oriented the connector to exit to the side instead of to the bottom, the chips end up top and bottom in the housing instead of left and right,so we're stuck with halogens.
EDIT: I found some bulbs which can be clocked. Not sure if I want to sink $50+ into them, though. (Will have to see how the halogens do first.) -
Amazon
EDIT2: Apparently there are more of these that can be clocked. -

Actually, in operation, they're not that bad (but I'll still try to fix it).
The pattern *is* pretty good. I adjusted them up a little bit ago and shot this video. They do a nice job of filling in below the low beams
Here's the pattern on the garage door after adjusting.

I like a fog to do vast, low and very vertically controlled, left to right, 135° minimum 150° better, for mountainous back and forth. AZ has these on many highways. It gives comfort to see the hill beside you, but also to see critters, who are having trouble seeing in the fog, too. If roadkill happens, sorry, but it's not cost-effective to seek in most cases... my G'ma and pheasants, excepted. Ahhh, Ramblers...

What can i say? Stuff bugs me sometimes.
I've softened my stance on this over the years, and believe it or not, good enough is sometimes good enough for me. (But I will still likely try to level these lights.).

I completely get that. My passenger seat has a random click that has me wanting to change the whole thing out. Lol

If you can get LEDs, do it. I put LED H1 high beams on my offroader and they're absurdly bright. Like lethally bright. No-kidding-brighter-than-my-LED-light-bars bright.
