Yea, for the paint/bolt connection, -you need to use bearing washers to keep them from spinning. Depending on torque, those can even cut in. In that case, with a small amount of paint prep, -a little adhesion promoter topped off with tiny bit of clear coat touch up, -it won't peel.

That vinyl looks good. But it needs compression eyelets (like they use for tarps) in order for it not to tear..gold plated would look good and last
