what can cause these issues?
One night the truck pretty much lost all power, turns out it was missing cylinder 1 through 4. I changed all the coils and spark plugs on that side,no help. Then I toyed around with the injectors and it ran well enough to limp it home,I took it to have codes read again and it was cylinder 1 and 2. I pulled all the injectors, cleaned them and changed my fuel filter and yesterday it was saying lean in both banks, misfire 1 5 6 and 8. The truck to me feels like its just struggling for fuel, but I just put in a fuel pump a couple days before all of this happened. Also the truck will start to shutter, then it stops once I put it in over drive. 4x4 also stopped engaging once all of this happened
Yea, fuel pressure (check it anyway), regulator, MAF. 4X4's unrelated unless you have a GEM problem. Anything other going on, like power windows and door locks, wiper malfunctions?
Examine the engine harness just above the AC accumulator. Look for chaffed wires there.
Has the engine heated up at all ? That could throw you into limp mode.

About your 4wd, just a click ? I'd jack up the front end and see if the actuator is moving back and forth from 2wd to 4wd.
Where's the click coming from, inside, down below , under the hood?
It might be something as simple as lubing the actuator.
