the only problem with this thinking is that if your in a accident and you or someone in the vehicle is seriously injured, that a passenger in your vehicle can sue you for injuries due to not having a properly maintained vehicle.

 

In my county in south dakota no one is a big enogh *** hole to sue

 

The airbag light bulb for the passenger side airbag light throws a code when the bulb has gone out or is about to go out if it's not that then it is the harness under the carpet not a big deal get it scanned but most places don't have the capability of diagnosing a SRS light unless you go to the dealership of have a buddy with a nice scan tool

 

Does it blink twice, then seven times, then stays on? It could just be throwing code that means the "off" light is burned out.

 

I think that could be what mine is doing because ive had the passenger side air bag turned off since i bought the truck three years ago

 

I think it is the light is burnt out. It doesn't turn on anymore and it blinks 2 times right when I start it and then a few times after then it just stays on
