Default Weird question

I just got my HID fog lights put in and now when I turn my fog lights on my radio reception goes out. What would cause that and how do I fix it? Thanks for any help

Yeah I put them in and I tucked all the wires up nice and neat and the first time I turned them in the radio went static. Right before that it was fine.

Where did you mount the ballasts? Perhaps they are too close to the antennae and are causing frequency interference (same concept as rca's next to a power wire)

That's a possibility. I didn't think of that. I'll check that tomorrow if it's not raining or snowing

Still no luck. Reran the wires. Nowhere near the antenna wire and still messes with the radio reception. It's only the fm so I guess if I want the good fogs I'll just listen to cd or iphone

The hid ballasts are introducing electrical noise through the ground system. You need a filter for the ballasts.

Where can I buy that and do I need one for each ballast?

Any good car audio shop should have ground noise filters
