Fob doesn't work when its hot outside. Have 2 fobs and both behave the same . As soon as temp goes down , the fobs work again. Obviously its something to do with the truck itself. Any ideas ? Oh, 2001 F150 V6 2WD. Thanks

 

Probably not the remotes at fault. The electric solenoids are known to fail. Do a search, there is lots of information on them, including detailed repair porcedures with pics. The only links I have on this subject are for another forum and I don''t want to be rude............but I was able to fix mine for free!
