Default Weekend project gone wrong...

Lil long but id say its a good story.

A while back on craigslist, I had found 2 used bfg km2s(285/70/17) in Thomasville, about 50miles away, luckily my dad worked there fairly often. I kept searching for another 2 tires, I finally found another set of Bfg km2 same size too! I thought this is perfect. Well ended up taking a vacation and hours at work got cut and didn't have the cash to spare. I put my tires up for Sale, so that when they sold so I could go get the km2s. After a couple people asking one guy said he would meet in Thomasville to look at em. I texted the two guys who ha the kms to make sure they still em. I thought that the guy who had the other two was only 30-40 miles away, turns out he is in Jacksonville, 150 miles away! I asked if he could come down on the price since I had a long long drive. He dropped it about half. So Friday my dad picked up the two from the other guy while he was in town. Friday night I went to the football game and had planned to leave after the game and go to jacksonville which is 2hours away. I was gunna take my cousins car since its so cheap on gas. Well a semi backed into my cousin and busted his car window, and a lot of other damage. It being 50 degrees we were gunna swap the door out really fast. It's now 10pm Friday night.. We finally find some tools around his house and shed, and get the door off, and pop the new one on. It's about 11 before we get it in. We only had wrenches and a cheap screwdriver. Doing 1/8 turns take forever to turn in a bolt. Well my mom flipped about us meeting a stranger at 2am. So I called my dad he said be ready and we would leave at 4am and be there by 6am so theat I could be back by 8am. The guy buying my tires was going to meet me Saturday morning at 8:30am. it would be CLOSE! My dad called me at 5am he was running late. When he gets there we decided to go sale mine to make sure I could get mine sold. I had to get my truck from my girlfriends, by the time I got home it was 7am. I jacked it up and put it on stands, and threw my tires and rims in dads truck. Got there at 8 sold mine, got back home at 9:30 had to hook up the horse trailer and go to my girl friends to go to the barrel race. Now it's almost 5pm. My truck is still on blocks, 2 mounted km2s sitting infront of it, and 2rims in the bed of my dads truck. I still got 2hours of at riding to go do so I can get my other two tires. My weekend has gone a lot worse than planned! But the tires look badass.

You put a 6,000lbs truck on jackstands on grass?

Swaps like these never go smoothly, but alls well that ends well. Good luck on getting the last two tires.

Well I wanted to do it under the carport but **** happened there's a big *** 5th horse trailer blocking my carport because the hub is off on one side so it couldn't be moved. My weekend is going crappy

Still, I would be worried that the dirt would give a bit too much under one of those stands and the whole thing would topple.

Maybe, but I wouldn't want to deal with getting her up out of the mud and back on stands.
