wanting wheel spacers

ok my truck is stock but in 2 weeks ill be putting on a lift 6 inch fabtech suspension and a 2 inch body and i have a new set of 17 inch brutal vtec rims and 35x12.5x17 dick cepek fc-II to put on i want wheel spacers cause the back spacing on the rims are a 4.9 and i seen somthing about having a 4.5 backspacing so i thought ill just get wheelspacers cause i want the tires to stick out so does anybody know of a good brand of wheel spacers to get cause ive been looking around and really cant make up my mind on which to get and i seen on some posts that they are kinda bad for your truck but i dont beat mine i just go into muddy fields now and then so i dont think it will hurt to much just send me some feedback thanks

im always skeptical about wheel spacers, id never trusted them an never will.. gl

Actually ebay sells good ones for a reasonable price, just type in your lug pattern then wheel spacer

Don't do it. You'll tear up your wheel bearings. If you want an offset go with new rims.

I agree, used to have spacers on my truck with 20" rims and they tore up my lower ball joints and wheel bearings

then what would be the difference with a rim with an offset then a wheel spacer

Exactly it doesnt make a difference, I have 2 inch wheel spacers and love em.

Whe. You have a. Offset rim your axle is only turnin the rim, when You throw spacers in you're turning the spacer and the rim. More work has to be done in a sense. Personally I wouldn't put anything behind my rim. It just don't sound good.

that and there is more stress on the lugs and the hub itself.. its like putting a spacer on another spacer imo
