I was driving my truck home it's a 03 with a 5.4 with 244,350 miles on it i pulled over for a cop to pass and I got back going went to merge gave it gas and it started shaking like crazy no CEL No OD off flashing all gauges are normal let off the gas no shaking put foot on the gas it shakes my brother said it felt like the driveshaft or rear end no unusual noises or anything ( rear end whines a little at low speeds) got under it and looked at the driveshaft noticed a ring at the end where the driveshaft leaves the transmission. But it felt like it was misfiring a little a few minutes before it started doing the shake could a bad misfire cause that?

Hi.

I just gave up trying to read that gibberish. Oh, my head!

Sorry. Gone to lay down with a Tylenol fer a spell.

Just post a pic, okay? A visual will actually be better. 'Something' fell off - we know not what.

Go get any pending codes pulled while my cabbage heals.... thanks

its alright I asked my dad about it and he said it sounds like a bad coil pack ( it was misfiring earlier)

Take 10 minutes, unbolt the rear U-joint and see if it is loose.
